Champion's Church
Christian Life Church's children's program is called "Champion's Church" and our goal is to assist our parents in raising champions for God's Kingdom.
Who Are Champions?
God called Gideon a champion in Judges 6:12: "The Lord is with you O champion."
Champions are winners who are not defeated. They are over comers! They are not weak, but "strong in the Lord".
Ephesians 6:4 commands us to "bring them (children) up in the training and admonition of the Lord".
Children are to be trained up in God's way. They should know:
Who they are in Christ.
How to be victorious and overcome the attacks of the enemy.
How to draw upon the strength of the Lord.
The world's way is to let children grow and learn by default and then in the teenage years we expect them to somehow, on their own, figure out who and what they are. The world says they hope children will find themselves. But this is not God's way.
